HOW WE CAME UP WITH THIS IDEA OF STARTING ONE LOVE.

ONE LOVE

 In the community where we are, we discovered a big challenge of “Early sex among the Girls and Boys due to Idleness and poverty’’. 

According to the Baseline survey we carried in February 2013 we found out that in this community Sex was taken as a game for the boys and way to solve the issue of poverty for the girls. According to the survey rural children start having Sex as early as 11 years for the girls and boys. 

At 13 years the girl is married with children.  We formed the academy to address this issue since Football is a game that unites people and through unity we can speak and talk to the youth. Football is the world’s most popular, loved and interesting sport that every person yearns to play and be part. All over the world, the beautiful game is used to create sustainable social change in our communities.  As for social impact football is a life changing game which fights discrimination, improves health, promote gender equality, fight violence and secure environmental sustainability among others

WHAT INSPIRED US?

The Idleness, suffering of (Vulnerable Children and Youth), Passion, commitment and hardworking of the boys and girls we first met and spoke too inspired us a lot to go ahead and get organized in form of an academy, support from communities, parents, volunteers and well wishers. The only way we could bring as many youth and children into scripture unions and abstinence clubs was to have a soccer academy which most vulnerable children and youth admired and dreamt of.  

 Speaking without action is a bad. Telling a youth to abstain from SEX and evil things without solving the problem that forces Him /her into sex is like writing on water. So the only way we could keep the Boys and girls from evil thoughts and idleness was to make them busy with soccer and this way was the only way to bring together the scattered and Hopeless children Together to improve their soccer Skills.

 One Love RASYN Academy started on 16^th March 2013 in the Village of Myeri, Katooke Sub County in Kyenjojo District. The academy was registered under RASYN a community based organization on 5^th/ December 2013. 

2.      PURPOSE OF ONE LOVE RASYN ACADEMY:

·          The main Purpose of this academy is to play  sports for social and physical impact and to  address social problems regarding gender equality, health and physical fitness, focusing on HIV behavior change, Girls and children empowerment and to encourage good relationship development  among other life skills. 

     WHAT IS INTENDED TO ACHIEVE IN SOCIETY?

We believe football is used to tackle a range of pressing social issues in the Society such as HIV/AIDS, education, peace building, employability and gender equality. In the society   we intend to handle the above social issues, solve them and bring back the passion, Joy, laughter, excitement, fitness, health, unity, confidence of our Youth and children through football. Through soccer we believe no other sport generates as much passion and excitement as football. Once children and Youth are on the pitch, it is easy to transform their passion for the game into meaningful life skills, boosting their employability, teaching them about health risks or fostering peaceful reconciliation between rival groups.

WE ASK FOR HELP TO HAVE SOCCER BOOTS

It hurt us so much  that recently we partcipated in a soccer tournment and out of many teams  that partcipated its only our team  and other two teans that did  have the soccer boots and this is one of the reasons why we lost the trophy. 

We lost because the BOYS  were fearing to get hurt by those who had shoes but we ask for support and help to have these boys get each a pair of shoe. God bless u.

 Soccer is more than a passion; it is a feeling and a language of change.

Soccer is one sport that makes everyone unite, a sport that can make the sad and miserable child smile and laugh at the end of the day and it is a sport that makes everyone shouts; play me!. in themselves. 

Whenever someone plays it more confidence, happiness, endless smiles, endless joy and courage are always gained. The more soccer is played, the more someone feels like an expert, changed and Super hero and heroine. 

 

One Love praying as a family.

Soccer is a game that empowers girls, causes a seal of change and opens the minds of every individual. It’s a game that can be played by everyone, at any time and any areas. 

Soccer can cause the impossible to become possible, the hopeless becomes hopeful, once you are given a ball your tears and pain can be as soon as you start kicking the ball.

 It’s a game that can bring and cause social development, create confidence, identifies the potential of someone and make children believe

PRAYING AND PLAYING TOGETHER AS ONE LOVE

Families who practice religion together will not break apart. We believe that the family that prays together stays together and we  insist on saying a prayer before and after every game. that we all say prayers every night.

 After the prayers we play together, playing soccer  brings an essential  happiness,  its healthy. Certainly our children need to do their chores, and of course they need discipline with consistency. 

We also play as family, a great thing happens to families when they play together: They begin to talk and laugh and lighten up. Family memories are built, inside jokes are shared, and serious moments of intimacy are communicated. Families need special times together to build lifelong memories and to play together. This is what we do as one Love family .One love forever

 One love boys made us so , so proud, they were young one but managed to play big boys and got points. Welldone boys, the sky is only our limit we shall be there in Jesus name.

We are number three in this group, we thank God for this success, we got a ball and a cerificate from On Ball Uganda.
 
We are raising a people of Power and making a people of peace. We believe in the Almight God, to provide for us this year, in Jesus name. We need soccer boots so help us God.

We believe God is a genie with a wand granting wishes and doing magic tricks, we don’t understand the God of the Bible.

God gave David confidence keeping lions from his sheep, then killing Goliath, then running a country, God did not give David a country and then instill in him magical confidence.


The truth is, if you do the work and gain the experience, you’ll have more confidence because you’ll actually know what you’re doing, and you will have spent some great time with God. The more we train and play in big tournments  the more we shall gain  confidence  and become best soccer team in the whole world.  One love we have our confidence in God.
