RASYN -CVM believes everyone can abstain from sex and other evil, its a choice and a decision, if well made good results are yield in the end. RASYN-CVM  emphasis is to tell and teach the youth to abstain totally  no sex before marriage and with God everything is possible

If you have decided to abstain from sex, it can sometimes feel like the world is working against you. It can make dating difficult and your peers may even ridicule you about your decision. This can put more pressure on you and make your task even more difficult. Here are some things that can help you keep to your practice of abstinence.

The important thing is to remember why you chose to abstain from sex in the first place. Whether it was due to your religious beliefs, a moral decision, the fear of sexually transmitted diseases, or a personal decision; there is no reason to allow others to cause you to second guess your decision. If you decide to give up on your abstinence, this should be your decision and it should not be caused by the pressure from those around you.

You can still date and remain abstinent. You should let this person know about your decision while you are in the beginning of the relationship and let them know how long you plan to stick to your abstinence. This is only fair to let them know what they are looking at. Let the decision be theirs on whether they are willing to be in a relationship with someone that has no intentions of being sexually active with them for a specific amount of time. For many people sex is an important part of a relationship and you will want to know where this person stands before either one of you get very emotionally involved.

When you are out on a date you should not get yourself into a physical situation that makes you feel uncomfortable or tempted. If you find that sitting close to your date starts to get to you, put some distance between the two of you. If you have already told this person of your decision then you can simply tell them you feel like you need a little room and they should understand. If you haven't yet told them, make an excuse to sit further away, or go to use the restroom and when you come back, sit a little further from them.

You should not make it any harder on yourself by getting yourself in tempting situations. A date should consist of group dates, or dates in places with other people around, such as; dinner in a restaurant, a movie, a night of dancing, or a friends party. You will want to steer clear of romantic dinners at home where you will be put in the situation of being at home alone with the person.

 Teach your child the reasons why He/ she Should abstain from sex and other evil and all  will be well with them. 

NO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE

For RASYN-CVM we are preaching and singing Abstinence as a commitment to staying a virgin until marriage ( to the students who are still virgins) and if you have lost it you can start abstaining and by the grace of God all sins are forgiven if you repent in the name of Jesus.We preach that Youth should abstain totally with out using condoms, NO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE is our title. Many think its hard but with GOD ALL IS POSSIBLE. amen and Amen

RASYN-CVM has been on life FM, VOT,AND BETTER FM every Saturday teaching youth about God 's word and Abstinence. Abstinence  is important because it will stop from a person getting a STD or becoming pregnant. Many people are still waiting to have sex until they are in a stable .As members of RASYN-CVM we are waiting until we get the right partners and we depend on the word of God. So far the radio programs have helped so many youth to join the clubs, their parents have been forced to look for  us and bring their children and youth to join. To us this is a great a achievement  and we pray  and know that more youth will be joining  us soon. We believe for more help and support from everyone to support us spiritually , financially and Morally  in Jesus name.

ABSTINENCE IS THE BEST

Abstinence is good because it's the only method that guarantees hundred percent prevention of pregnancy and diseases without using contraceptives and condoms. Abstinence gives one a sense of belonging and sound mind in that the stress of dealing with sexual matters are not an issue or the consequences of engaging in unprotected sexual intercourse.
As RASYN-CVM we believe and know that when we abstain from Sex and other evil, this world will be a different place to stay in. AIDS /HIV will not over spread, stealing will reduce, bad and evil things will reduce and everyone will leave a happy life.

 A person who wishes to choose abstinence will not risk receiving sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Also, an unplanned pregnancy will not result from abstinence .We are happy that we have joined RASYN CVM.  A lot of things have changed in our lives.

Jesus is the Saviour of the earth , he came to save the sinners that was the topic of the discussion. We believe all that JESUS is the Saviour of the world. RASYN-CVM IN RURAL SCHOOLS

WHY RURAL STUDENTS

Rural Primary, Secondary and University students have less access to relevant information about abstinence from sex, excessive alcohol and abusive/addictive drug and other information related to abusive relationships, early marriages and school drop outs.

Many students stay  with their step- parents who  never allow them to take part in any of the ongoing activities that would benefit them like youth seminars ,educative shows and church programs  , some step  parents do not share any important information with their step  children , many step  parents have  forced their step children  to go into early marriages and drop out of schools .

When ever they find their step children  with men or women they congratulate them and give them a go ahead .Also some step parents have been so harsh to their step children and many have resorted into running out of homes and hence early marriages , school drop outs and going into abusive relationships. So this program of abstinence goes ahead to be a voice to the voice less youth rural students and it helps them to know their right and laws

Many Rural students do not have any access to the internet, radios and televisions, many can not participant in any seminar or talk shows many can’t afford the transport fee and their step –parents can not allow them to take any part in the ongoing programs that would help them to get knowledge about HIV/AIDS .

Also most publications are in English languages and many rural students do not fully understand the language of what is published in magazines, new papers, novels and other books. Also many rural youth can not access such publication because they are expensive, and many study from rural schools and live in rural home. Those who get access to news paper only read sports and other information leaving the page that contains any information about HIV/AIDS .So abstinence program guides the rural students on how to read such information that would help them if they get access to the publications. 

Also some rural students are total orphans who only have to work and get money to pay their fees, so they hardly get time to concentrate on finding this information. Since many rural students are orphans, poor and stay with harsh step parents, many tend to forget their stress and problems by dropping out of schools, drinking excessively, going into early marriage, having sex with sugar mummies and daddies and doing a lot of evil because they take life to be meaningless .So abstinence program tries to comfort such people by showing them love, hope, friendship, guidance, courage, strength, information and care in all ways 

Many of the rural students do not know about their right and lack a lot of information as a research we conducted with some rural students ,many think being in a relationship means having sex, getting pregnant and leaving school to go and start a home and a family. So when a rural student goes to a school and finds any student with an expensive bag, he or she tends to do any thing in order to get money to buy such an item.

Many village men have taken advantage of these students and they have ended up affecting them with STDs and many have been lied by the tax drivers ,herdsmen , carpenters and Bike riders that they own the cars, cows, and bikes which is never the true  and after sleeping with them and impregnating them such men disappear and change their contacts .

HOW CAN RURAL STUDENT FIGHT THE SPREAD OF HIV/AIDS *

- Through abstinence from Sex which is the best way to prevent HIV/AIDS - Avoid any opportunity of being raped by not walking at night, avoid excessive drinking of alcohol and addictive drugs and choose right Friends wisely. - Also to use condoms when ever they feel they can’t control the strong Feeling - Never to trust and use any sharp equipments that has been used even by their parents, best friends , church leaders, boys friends and their children .
