CHILDREN FELLOWSHIP

SAALI number 20  leading other members of RASYN in praise and worship Jan 2014

Dear God,
I surrender my School fees,  scholastic materials, my food , my clothes  and concerns about money to your Divine care and love .I ask that you remove my worries, anxieties, and fears about money, and replace them with faith. I know and trust that my Fees will be paid and money will flow into our ministry that will send so many children to school. I have only to look to nature to see proof of the abundance you provide. I release all negative thoughts about money, and  know that prosperity is my true state. I commit to being grateful for all that I now have in my life. And finally, I ask you to help me understand my purpose in life and to act on that purpose with courage and strength. I know that school fees will come, in full and I will not sit home and watch others go to school in 2014 . Please help me use my skills and knowledge to be of service in the world.  All from Saali  Richard. 15 years.  Member of RASYN. Our God can never fail to answer such a prayer from a young Boy. God let your will be done in Jesus name.

TOPHIES WON BY RASYN ACADEMY

The two trophies RASYN won in 2013
One love FC  RASYN  soccer academy  that was started June 2013  has been able to win two trophies, one trophy was won on 9th October 2013  beating 4 team to win the trophy and the other one won  on 31 Dec 2013  beating 3 teams and take the cup. RASYN is trying to improve the talents of the orphan and Vulnerable  children in most villages of Katooke sub county Kyenjojo District.

WHY SOCCER ACADEMY?
Children saw football as a source of fun, challenging and exciting game that can make kids focus and forget to think about the parents and families they lost. Most kids love being part of a team.
Many youth are cooperating  and and doing everything as team , it has  helped  develop positive social skills and thought  respect for others. It helps build self-confidence, a positive self-image and self-worth. It enables a child to improve upon and develop a broad range of motor skills like throwing, catching, running, kicking, balance, agility and coordination.
ONE LOVE FC RASYN academy played over 15 matches, won 13 and drew 2 , they have never lost any game. This year in January  RASYN played between Katooke youth academy and punished the host 4:2 it was great Joy indeed. we need support because we only have one ball for 3 teams, one pair of uniform, no shoes, no trained coaches and no Van the little ones trek when ever they have a match, so they get tired but still they win. We need partners to rise professional footballers

VISION BEARER

RASYN SOCCER ACADEMY UNDER 14
Sheila Amanya 27 years from Western Uganda grew up watching her Mother, work   with people sick of  HIV  who were women and Children and the victims were so slim, with big head and big eyes which scared me so much.

My Mother would often come home late, Tired with broken heart and send us to the homes of the patients to take them Milk and food.  As Sheila I was moved to take action when I witnessed children’s confidence soar from this simple act of kindness.

I was determined to find a way to include Youth and Children with and without HIV in abstinence and scripture union clubs and finally I started RASYN in 2013.  The vision is to inform and share knowledge about Abstinence as the best way to control HIV/AIDS, empower Youth and children with word of God and equip them with Entrepreneurial skills, economic skills and physical support. Now we have over 200 youth and children in the two clubs and we try to support orphans with the little we have.

As a vision Bearer I take care of over 30 children, I feed them, educate them, and buy them clothes, rent for them house where they stay and Am a mother to them.
Am doing this because God I was raised    me up from grass to grace, I hate seeing orphans, HIV positive children and any youth suffer and being discriminated.

Youth need training, knowledge and in entrepreneur skills and other developmental skills, they need to be supported with fees and scholastic materials so that they will not look for money from men and women through sex and this can go hand in hand with abstinence.
When youth have money to support themselves and have something to make them busy they can easily forget sex issues and concentrate on developmental and economic issues hence reduction on the spread of HIV/AIDS. The spread of HIV/AIDS is 30% in the district of Kabarole .According to the published  on  Jun 23, 2012 http://www.newvision.co.ug/article/fullstory Kabarole district secretary for health and education Joshua Kagaba  said that the HIV prevalence among secondary schools in Kabarole district currently stands at 30%.Kagaba told the New Vision on Thursday morning that a study by the district with the help of other Non-Governmental Organization shows that of every 1000 students at least over 250 are HIV positive. This is a big problem that needs serious attentions by everyone.
So I have set an example as a young woman and God is giving me victory day and night. Thank u everyone for supporting this Vision
